So this is a huge day for me. I went to the hospital for what I thought might be a recast but nope. I'm free and clear - no more cast for me... not even a
walking boot. Really bizarre to actually feel fresh air on my leg. My leg shriveled up and my ankle is really locked up but it's all on me now. I
don't even think I'll need physio for this. I'm still in shock right now - I went from 0-60 in my healing within a month.

great news! but "I don't even think I'll need physio for this. "? You probably need physio! last thing you want is a muscle imbalance problem or something. i'm going to a new physio place tonight...i'll let you know how it goes if you need a reco.

I asked the doc 3 times about the physio (because I didn't believe him) and he was pretty sure I won't need it at all. Part of the reason is because I could move the knee so I really just need to build the muscles back up and do ankle stretches daily. There's still a chance I might need it but I got a pretty good physio place up the street from me. Thanks though!
